Watchful Until the End

Why are we called to watch and pray? Does that mean that we speculate about the end of the world or is it about having a more personal focus? Too often we look to see Christ return because we are deluded into thinking we have no reason to live better, but Christ expects more for each of us. Will you watch and pray and not merely say the “right” things to only sound Christian?

The Middle Visit

Do you know that God comes to you where you are? Too often we look for His second coming or merely recall how He was a babe in a manager. But, God comes to you today. Do you know where to meet Him?

Incarnation in the Eucharist

There is a blessing to those who see God in a way that others are unable to perceive. It is especially true to those who perceive Christ in the Eucharist. For it is very similar to the way in which He was manifested in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.

To Receive Him

Advent is not just a time in which we prepare ourselves for Christmas. It is a time in which we really consider how we ought to receive Him and be a branch on the Vine. Have you considered how Advent prepares you to receive Christ as your Lord and Savoir? Have you really received Him into your heart, soul, being in the Blessed Sacrament? Or is it just a meaningless thing to receive bread and wine in Mass or a “Christian” service because you remember something of an Incarnate God on Calvary?

The Joyful Mysteries

This is the Joyful Mysteries that are found in my book A Rosary Devotional. It can be found at: http://amz.to/2Gncn2y

This praying through includes a few extra prayers to aid in finding the deeper graces and blessings that each of the prayers of the rosary are meant to lead us all into. These additional prayers are found in the opening portion from the Sign of the Cross up to the First Mystery and in the concluding section following the Hail Holy Queen prayer to the final Sign of the Cross.

Each mystery also includes scriptures for meditation with each Hail Mary to aid in keeping you focused on the grace each mystery is to be a channel of grace for. And, such scriptures will help you in turning the devotion of the rosary into a school of the Catholic faith as only the Blessed Mother could provide.

A Sure Guarantee

What is our ultimate hope or promise that God gives us? It is simply that He will secure for us an eternal blessing. But, just how does He do that? Do you understand that by being a branch on the vine is about finding the grace of God to persevere?

In You

Why do we struggle with sin and failures as believers? Is it because we are only human or is there something more to abiding in Christ than just trying to clean the mess of our lives instead of just taking up our cross and dying that Christ might rule over us?
